The 2007 Artifact Committee was created to:

• locate items of importance to the original 61st New York
• research the items to insure their authenticity and value
• raise funds to keep in reserve for future purchases
• document items (for future use in education, on website, etc. )
• locate a suitable museum or institution for donation/preservation of item(s)
